Charlie talking with an exhibitor at a trade fair in Guangzhou

The whole team is fluent in Mandarin, the language of business across China.

Charlie also speaks Cantonese, widely used in Guangdong and around the Canton Fair, and Sichuanese, which helps when you’re working with suppliers in western China.

In meetings you hear everything in plain English, from people on your side.
